A study Circle was organised on 18th May, 2002 to discuss the amendments made to the Income Tax Act, 1961 by the Finance Act, 2002. Mr. Dinesh Gupta, one of the senior most members of the branch, explained the amendmentsin the provisions of Sec.10, 12 & 13 of the Income Tax Act exhaustively. Mr. G.G.Garg also spoke on the occasion and explained the assessment procedured including the Block Assessment.

A CPE Seminar was held on 10th May, 2002. Mr. Naveen Bhargava, FCA. Chairman of CIRC, released the first issue of the branch letter. The topics undertaken were TDS Provisions, Personality Development and AS-22.
